8/9 JOE GRUSHECKY & THE HOUSEROCKERS
The Iron City Houserockers were an American rock band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, led by singer/guitarist Joe Grushecky, that existed from 1976 until 1984. Lumped into the heartland rock genre, the band's fans view them as one of the great "shoulda-beens" in the history of rock and roll. Joe Grushecky has a vocal delivery similar to British rock musicians Elvis Costello and Graham Parker. Joe Grushecky went on to a modestly successful career on his own, often under the name Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers. He has co-written several songs with fellow heartland rocker Bruce Springsteen and made a number of on-stage appearances with him.

8/23 The HUCKIN' FILLBILLYS: Alcohol-fueled rock!
The Huckin’ Fillbillys, formed in the spring of 2005, are a rock-n-roll band from Northeast Ohio that stemmed from the popular, early 90's hard-rock band, Lazarus. The guys from Lazarus wanted to do a side project that was light-hearted and fun. The wheels were set into motion to put together a “red-necked themed” band of 5 good-ole-boys, uneducated, very patriotic, and musically raw and powerful. The Huckin’ Fillbillys started out as a cover band, covering standards such as Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, AC/DC, and Foreigner but as fate would have it, the writing itch came to ‘em and the boys started writing material for their debut album, “Hicks, Chicks, and Lunatics” of which a couple of songs (Love At First Bite & Mama Didn’t Raise No Fool) may be previewed on www.myspace.com/huckinfillbillys.
